I decided to write this article because something just doesn't feel right about the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI. When his resignation first hit the news cycle a couple of weeks ago I thought the time has come for the Black Duke to take over the Vatican and World War III will soon begin. Once I thought about it though I realized that all of the pieces of the puzzle that need to be in place are not there yet, so after reviewing the information one more time I feel like the Black Duke will not take control of the Catholic Church in the upcoming election.

The man I wrote about in our recent article Back In Black fits all of the criteria laid out in Revelation 13:11 for the False Prophet, he just isn't part of the Vatican good old boy network. Furthermore I've reviewed the current list of candidates being considered for the office of Pope and no one on the list fits the profile laid out by the Bible for the False Prophet. Because no one on the list fits the profile, as far as I'm concerned the job of False Prophet still belongs to the Black Duke, thus the next Pope may fulfill the prophecy of Saint Malachy by being the last Pontiff elected in Rome, but the Black Duke will still take control of the Vatican at some later date because that's what Nostradamus said he would do in quatrain C9 Q41.

The original scenario I put together back in the 1990's still holds water, but it hit me recently when I started to review the information I used back then that I should have paid closer attention to what Nostradamus said, because he didn't say the Black Duke would be elected to the office of Pope, he said that control of the Vatican shall be taken by the Black Duke with the red feather. I take that now to mean that he is not destined to be elected to the office of Pope, he will instead take what is left of the Catholic Church after World War III begins and lead it. I believe that for several reasons, the first of which is that St. Malachy who predicted the identity of the last Pope, said, In the last persecution of the Holy Roman Church. There will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things have happened, the seven-hilled city will be destroyed, and the terrible judge will judge his people. The End.

What Malachy isn't saying in his prediction about the last Pope from Rome is what will happen to him around the time the destruction of the seven-hilled city takes place. I believe the answer to that mystery is one of the missing pieces of the puzzle that haven't fallen into place yet, and it won't fall into place until the Fatima prophecy is fulfilled. I wrote a small piece on Third Secret of Fatima in our Twilight's Last Gleaming article released in the year 2000. You can read what I said there if you'd like, because the only thing I've changed my mind about since I wrote it is that I now believe that the Black Duke will not be the next Pope.

The problem I had in the year 2000 about the Fatima prophecy is that the Catholic Church wanted to say that it was fulfilled in 1981 with the attempt on the life of Pope John Paul II in Saint Peter's Square. I pointed out that Saint Peter's Square did not lie half in ruin when the attempt was made on the life of John Paul II, therefore the circumstances didn't fit the prophecy. The Third Secret of Fatima says, and I'm paraphrasing, A Bishop clothed in white, perceived to be the Pope, makes his way through a large city that lies half in ruin. As the Pontiff makes his way through the city he prays for the souls of the corpses he met on his way. After great difficulty he reaches the top of a very steep mountain where he pauses to pray at the foot of a big cross amid the corpses of the Churches martyred. He is killed there in a burst of gunfire.

The only mistake I made in my analysis at the time was in thinking that the last Pope would be the Black Duke. Technically speaking from St. Malachy's point of view the last Pope of the Catholic Church will be elected in Rome this month, but the leader that follows him will be an outsider. I believe Malachy is making that clear by giving us the name he will use. No one elected to the office of Pope from the Roman branch of the Catholic Church would choose the name Peter for himself because it would show a complete lack of respect for Peter the apostle who was the first Pontiff. The man who takes over after this Pope will be the False Prophet, and if I understand what is being said correctly, the False Prophet who was given the name Peter at birth will use his given name when he becomes Pontiff, because he will not rise from within the hierarchy of the Vatican.

Revelation 13:11 says, And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. In order to be the False Prophet a candidate must pass all three of the tests listed in this verse. The first test is that he must be born in the area of land that God gave to ancient Israel, which is what coming up out of the earth means. The verse actually says that he will rise up out of the land in Greek, and that is why most scholars believe that he will be Jewish by birth. The so called Antichrist is of Jewish descent, but he was not born in the Middle East. The False Prophet was born in Beirut, Lebanon, which puts his birth place within the land of ancient Canaan, but he is not Jewish by birth. He is Muslim by birth and the closest he gets to being Jewish is that his ancient ancestors were Esau, the brother of Jacob, who married the daughter of Ishmael. Ishmael was the first born son of Abraham, but his mother was not Hebrew like Sarah, she was Egyptian. I have an article coming out soon called Xerxes Revisited that deals with the descendants of Esau and Ishmael, so keep an eye out for it.

The second test to be passed is that he must have two horns like a lamb. The Black Duke has two horns because he is from an Eastern Orthodox branch of the Catholic Church that recognizes Papal supremacy in Rome. That means when he takes control of the Roman branch of the Catholic Church after World War III begins, he will do so with two horns like a lamb because he will rise to power from two separate branches of the same Church. Once war breaks out in the Middle East being Muslim by birth and Christian by choice will make this man very useful to the Antichrist in bringing peace to the region.

Most Muslims are not going to renounce their faith so Revelation 13:15 says they will be killed for their refusal. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Death is the real motive behind World War III and Daniel 8:24 says of the man I call the Aquarian, he shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. The mighty people are from countries like Iraq, Iran, Egypt and so on. The people living in these countries live in the wake of Nimrod who began to be a mighty one in Egypt, and after being schooled by the angels that taught his grandfather, he took his new found knowledge back to Mesopotamia with him, and from there it spread throughout the region. The holy people are from Israel, and most people from both races will be killed during the war to make their deaths look legitimate. The rest will be rounded up and put on trial so they can be branded radicals. After that they will be executed for refusing to join the New World Order.

Test number three lies with the origin of the Christian religion, because that's where the mark of the beast can be found, and the origin of this religion is why the False Prophet will speak as a dragon. Ezekiel 29:3 says, Speak, and say, Thus says the Lord God; Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lies in the midst of his rivers has said, My river is my own, and I have made it for myself. Ezekiel 29:3 tells us that the Nile River is the layer of the great dragon, and Ezekiel 29:10 pinpoints what part of the Nile River the dragon calls home. Behold, therefore I am against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste from the tower of Syene even unto the the border of Ethiopia. The tower of Syene is the Great Pyramid and it sits on the thirtieth meridian and the thirtieth parallel forming a cross on the earth. The symbol of the cross is defined by the language chart below as owner's mark.

The ancient Hebrew language was derived from the Proto-Canaanite symbols shown above and the language of the Canaanites was derived from the hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt. That's because Canaan was the son of Ham who founded ancient Egypt. Ham was the grandfather of Nimrod who is credited with building the tower of Babel. The symbols of ancient Canaan like the cross that marks the location of the Great Pyramid on the map below right are also visible in the symbols used by the United Nations and the Vatican. Because Ezekiel 29:3-10 and Isaiah 19:18-20 identify the tower of Babel as the Great Pyramid of Egypt, I believe it is safe to say that the dragon left his mark on all three of these places identifying the Christian religion as one of his creations. Because the Christian religion is his creation, anyone teaching belief in a pseudo-Messiah called Christ, which is abbreviated with an X by the way, speaks as a dragon.

Nostradamus verified that the Vatican will be moved from Rome in quatrain C8 Q99. Through the power of three temporal kings, The sacred seat will be put in another place: Where the substance of the body and spirit, Will be restored and received as the true seat. The place where the Church will be located is given by Nostradamus in quatrain C9 Q41. The great Chyren will seize Avignon, From Rome letters in honey full of bitterness: Letter and embassy to leave from Chanignon, Carpentras taken by the Black Duke with the red feather. I believe Nostradamus is sending a message in these two quatrains, because the power of three temporal kings means that Europe is going to return to the medieval practice of a united Church and State. That's what took place in Avignon and Carpentras France from 1309 to 1376. Seven Popes reigned from these two cities rather than Rome during this time period, and all of them were French.

Most experts on Nostradamus believe that the great Chyren, which is spelled Chiren in other quatrains, is an allusion to the Antichrist. They believe the name may refer to the Greek Centaur god Cheiron, whose name means the pierced. Cheiron was part horse and part man, so if Nostradamus is using the name of this god to refer to the fact that the so called Antichrist is two people in one I have to agree with the assessment of the Nostradamus experts, because Daniel 7:4 identifies the great Chyren as a lion who loses his eagle's wings during his rise to power, and is given a man's heart to replace them with in Daniel's vision by night.

I believe this dual nature alluded to by the Bible and Nostradamus is referring to the fact that the Aquarian was born with one name, but now uses another. He was born with a name that adds up to a single digit number of nine. Under the numerology system created at the tower of Babel the number nine is a holy number that is never used unless it results from a name given to someone at birth. The Hebrew language was derived from the language of Canaan, which was derived from the language Egypt. Because of this I believe Revelation 13:18 is telling us to add the number 666 together. In other words, to count the number of the beast means to add the number up and get a single digit total.

When you add 6+6+6 you get a total of 18. When you add 1+8 you get a total of 9, which is the number of the name that the great Chyren was given at birth. When he changed his name to what it is today the total became one, and that is what the picture below from the back of the One Dollar Bill represents. When you add his two names together, 9+1 you get a total of ten. As you can see in the picture on the right, when you impose the ancient symbol for the number ten onto the two-piece pyramid from the back of the One Dollar Bill, it shows you how to count the number of the beast by adding the numbers 9 and 1 together.

The picture in the middle shows you what happens when a member of the Catholic Church forms a cross on their body. No matter where they are in the world this practice orients their prayer toward the Great Pyramid of Egypt. The cross on the top of a Protestant church steeple does the same thing for the worshippers inside. Add or count the numbers of the formed cross together and you get a total of ten. Add 1+0 together to get a single digit number and the total becomes one. One is the name of the beast, or the number of his name that he uses today. Oneness is the religion that was created at the tower of Babel and it has manifested itself again here in our time because Christians refer to themselves as the body of Christ, which reduces or counts the number of members they have worldwide down to a single digit number of one.

One is also the first number you get when take your right hand and touch it to your forehead to form the cross shown in the picture above. The right hand of a priest is used on Ash Wednesday to paint a cross of ashes on a parishioners forehead. I believe this practice alludes to the other picture on the back of the One Dollar Bill, which is an eagle. Follow that symbol back to its origins and it represents a phoenix rising from the ashes. It's a symbol of immortality and there is a reason why all of this information was placed on the back of the U.S. One Dollar Bill. Members of the occult were announcing that America would be the birthplace of the great Chyren. You can ignore all of these facts if you'd like, but I think the evidence on Christianity speaks for itself.

In quatrain C2 Q97 Nostradamus gave the following warning to the Pope that will soon be elected in Rome. Roman Pontiff beware of approaching, The city that two rivers flow through: Near there your blood will come to spurt, You and yours when the rose will flourish. Unless I misunderstand what is being said here this quatrain is referring to the Third Secret of Fatima. I believe the last line of the quatrain is saying that the Pope who is leading the Roman branch of the Catholic Church at the onset of World War III will be assassinated when the rose will flourish. The rose in my opinion is a direct reference by Nostradamus to the man I call the Aquarian. He belongs to a branch of Freemasons known as Rosicrucians, and it was their symbol, the red upon the gold, that allowed me to recognize him several years ago. He and his colleagues will flourish during World War III.

I have seen two different translations of the following quatrain that are similar but slightly different. I'm going to use the one I used sixteen years ago when I wrote A Brief Look At Tomorrow because I believe it makes more sense than the other version. So long awaited shall never come back, Into Europe, in Asia shall appear: The one of the lineage issued from the great Hermes, And over all the Kings of Orient he shall increase, quatrain C10 Q75. The great Hermes ties the lineage of the so called Antichrist to ancient Egypt and the tower of Babel. So long awaited is Jesus and He won't come back until after peace has been established in the aftermath of World War III. I have long said that there will be a gap between World War III and the Battle of Armageddon. The Aquarian will appear in Europe when he moves the United Nations headquarters there after New York City is destroyed in World War III. The Kings of Orient are the ten horns of Revelation 17:12 who practice the Eastern Mystery Religions that came out of Egypt during the time of Nimrod. They are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

These men are not just normal run of the mill political leaders from countries around the world, they are members of the occult. They belong to secret societies like the Illuminati, the Bilderbergers and the Rosicrucians. They are Freemasons who are members of the Grand Orient Masonic Lodges of Europe and they plan to take over the world, so in closing out the article I would like to explain when I believe all of these things will begin and end.

If you are a regular reader of The Night Watchman you should remember that I have a difference of opinion with Bible scholars on how they view the timeline of the last days. They believe that end time events will take place over a seven year period. At the beginning of this seven period they will be removed from the earth by Jesus in something they call the Rapture. Once this event takes place they believe the great tribulation will begin. Once it begins it will last for seven years, and at the end of it all Jesus will return to the earth with them and they will live and reign with Him for a thousand years. There may be a seven year time span at the end of all of this just before Jesus returns, but the Battle of Armageddon isn't going to take seven years, or even three-and-a-half years to fight. World War III will though, and while it rages no one is leaving the planet because everyone is going to suffer equally.

Jesus will indeed arrive to fight the Battle of Armageddon at the end of all this, but the Bible says throughout that the battle only takes one day. It's called that great day of God Almighty. Jesus is not coming back here to spend a thousand years reigning with a bunch of people who worship some other god, He is coming here to pass judgment on everyone and everything. I have said this on several occasions and I'll say it again now. The only reason people will be removed from the face of the earth, is because to be here when Jesus touches foot on the planet at the Battle of Armageddon is a death sentence. If you have prepared for a one-mile diameter asteroid strike you may have a chance to survive what will happen. If you don't prepare, you will most certainly die. If you don't die when the asteroid hits, you will surely die afterwards, because when this thing hits land, and that's what the Bible says it will do, the temperature of our atmosphere is going to approach 400 degrees Fahrenheit all over the planet. That's why Jesus said the following in Matthew 24:15. When you therefore see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:) Then let them which are in Judea flee into the mountains.

What Jesus is saying in the verse above is that once you see this event happen you will have a short period of time to flee, and He is not talking about fleeing into the mountains of Israel, He is telling you to flee into the mountains we call continents. Anyone in Europe, Western Russia, Northern Africa and the Middle East is going to die when this asteroid hits, because this asteroid is how the Antichrist and False Prophet are cast alive into a lake burning with fire and brimstone. Daniel 2:34-35 says that this stone will fill the whole earth, which suggests that at the very least, it is going to crack open the crust of the planet and drag everything in the area of where it hits beneath the surface of the planet with it.

If I am correct in understanding what the Bible says this asteroid will hit the earth in the year 2028, and I have three sources that tell me this. The first is the New York Times, which had a headline in the Spring of 1998 that read, Asteroid to crowd near Earth in 2028. This asteroid is a mile across and was subtly mentioned in Psalm 98:7-8, and if you are a regular reader you know that I believe the book of Psalms to be a book of prophecies that is correlated year by year. Psalm 98 represents the year 1998, and it says, Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together before the Lord; for he comes to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

Two things of significance happened in the year 1998. It flooded all over the world that Spring and asteroid XF11 was in the news should you care to Goggle either event. Isaiah 13:3-9 mentions this asteroid as a weapon of the Lord's anger that is connected with the judgment that will take place on that great day. I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for my anger, even them that rejoice in my highness...They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Howl you; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt...Behold the day of the Lord comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

The word desolate ties the judgment of Isaiah 13:3-9 to the abomination spoken of by Daniel in Matthew 24:15. Nostradamus verifies that asteroid XF11 is the weapon of the Lord's indignation in quatrain C1 Q69, because he refers to an asteroid one mile in circumference as the great mountain mentioned in Daniel 2:35. The last point of verification that this asteroid will hit the earth in the year 2028 can be found in Psalm 128:4-6, which represents the year 2028. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the Lord. The Lord shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. You shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.

We will see peace in Israel because there will be no one left alive in the area to argue over who owns the land anymore. The faithful will be rescued out of Zion at the last minute because they stayed there to fight and waited too long to get out. This is the Rapture that Christians talk about. There is another verse in the Bible I would like to use that ties this judgment to that great day of God Almighty, and it has to do with the rejection of Jesus as the stone which the builders rejected in Matthew 21:42-44. Therefore I say unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

The dispute over the possession of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount will bring on this judgment and there is something you need to know if you don't know it already. The land that King David of Israel purchased for the Temple Mount was once used to grind wheat. It was a threshing floor used to separate the wheat from the chaff, and that is what the Lord will use it for on that great day of God Almighty. Daniel 2:35 says that the people who watch the Antichrist worship an image of himself on the Temple Mount on that great day, became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Now that I have dealt with the end I would like to talk a little bit about the beginning of the time of the end. If you are a regular reader you will remember that I believe that the time of the end began in late December of the year 2000. I believe that for a couple of reasons, the first being that right around that time the Bible began to make a lot more sense to me than it did before. I attribute that to the angel in Daniel 12:9 saying to him, Go your way Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. The other thing that alerted me to where we were in time was that late in the year 2000 we completed one and entered another 28 year cycle of the Moon.

You are probably thinking what does the Moon have to do with anything? and I believe it is this. Daniel 9:24 says, Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon the holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Jesus is the most Holy and he left the earth a little over 2000 years ago to return to His Father's kingdom and be anointed.

There are two arguments about the timeline of Daniel 9:24. One comes from Bible experts who say that the seventy-weeks of Daniel are seventy seven-year periods of time. They also say that 69 out of the seventy-weeks happened in our past, and that week number seventy will happen sometime in our future. I say even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while, and that's what happened in this case. We are in week number seventy right now, and that is my side of the argument. If you take the 2000 years that Jesus has been gone and divide it by 69 weeks you will come up with a total of 28.98 years. That's close enough to a 28 year cycle of the Moon for me, but if someone wants to get technical you could say it represents 69 complete cycles at 28.98 years and one partial. No matter how you slice it, it still comes close enough to everything ending in the year 2028 for me.

As you delve deeper into this line of thought you come across the fact that the planet Saturn takes 29.45 years to orbit the Sun, and legend has it that the planet Saturn represents the god of time. The Romans associated the god Saturn with sowing and harvest. Something else that should be considered is that I believe Saturn used to be the seventh planet in our Solar System not the sixth. That's because scientific evidence now exists suggesting that the asteroid belt is a planet that was destroyed, not a planet that never formed. Because of this it is my belief that it is no accident that the seventh day of the week ended up being named after the planet Saturn in ancient Rome. I believe that Saturn is indeed the keeper of time, and if you want to understand the seventy weeks of Daniel, you have to take a hard look at where the Roman god Saturn came from.

Some will want to dismiss what I'm saying because they think that the occult is taboo. I say evidence is evidence, and just because it originated at the tower of Babel doesn't automatically eliminate it because some believe that everything from the occult is a lie. I believe that all legend comes from some shred of truth, and this case is no different. A lot of what Ham taught to the people of ancient Egypt about the stars he learned from his father Noah. Since the Bible says that Noah walked with God it is hard for me to just dismiss everything that the ancient Egyptians passed on to other cultures like the Mesopotamians and the Greeks, even though a lot of it was corrupted.

In Greek mythology the god of time was Cronus, whose Egyptian counterpart Khonsu was the god of the Moon and time. Khonus was a companion of the god Thoth whose Greek counterpart was Hermes. Thoth was also connected with the Moon and the measurement of time. This connection of the Moon and Saturn to time is why I believe the 29.45 years it takes Saturn to orbit the Sun, and the 28 year cycles of the Moon I mentioned earlier are connected in some way. I think they are like the hands on a clock, and when both hands line up on the number twelve the clock strikes midnight where one day ends and another begins.

I believe that is what happened at the end of the Mayan long count calendar on December 21, 2012, and that the end of the Mayan calendar can be equated to what is said in Hebrews 9:27. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Bible scholars believe this verse means that there is no such thing as reincarnation. That men live, die and then wait on the judgment. I say they are missing the bigger point, which is shown in the illustration below.

Grand Cross - A Brief Look At Tomorrow

I'm not going to bog down here in details because I have discussed this subject many times in several other articles here on the website. Time as we know it began for mankind 26,000 years ago at the beginning of the Age of Aquarius. We still have a few years to go before we enter the Age of Aquarius again, but in my opinion we are close enough to the end of time to be looking a what Hebrews 9:27 calls the judgment. I believe Hebrews 9:27 is not just talking about a man living and dying in one lifetime, I believe it is talking about the bigger picture, which is the Age of Man ending here in the last days with the stroke of midnight on the clock. If that's true then it shines a whole new light on where we are right now in time.

If the time of the end started when I believe it did, late in the year 2000, and the last revolution of the planet Saturn is truly synchronized with the current 28 year cycle of the Moon, which ends in the year 2028, then that would make the year 2014 the middle of what Bible scholars call the seventieth week of Daniel. The middle of the week is where they believe the tribulation will begin. If you add that to Saint Malachy's prophecy about the last Pope being elected in Rome this month, the evidence in front of you becomes harder to ignore. Furthermore President Obama will visit Israel this month also, and he has all but backed Benjamin Netanyahu into a corner on the issue of Iran developing nuclear weapons. Israel has been left with little choice but to take action against Iran by itself. When you survey all of the information before you it isn't hard to figure out that World War III can start anytime after the end of March, which is when the last Pope from Rome will take his seat at the Vatican.
