As the month of July approached this year people all over the world waited nervously to see if the anticipated disaster predicted by Nostradamus would occur. When the awaited disaster was perceived not to have happened, the skeptics appeared in droves to say see, I told you it was bunk. I would just say to these people that bunk is in the eye of the beholder because sometimes things are not always what they appear to be. The event foretold by Nostradamus in the 1999 quatrain happened just as he predicted it would, the forecast just wasn't what everyone anticipated it would be.

In his Epistle to Henry II, King of France in his day, Nostradamus wrote the following. "...the great Empire of the Antichrist will...be preceded by a solar eclipse more obscure and tenebrous than any since the creation of the world, except that after the death and passion of Jesus Christ." A solar eclipse occurred on August 11, 1999, which I believe could be the one that Nostradamus wrote to King Henry about, and before I begin dissecting the 1999 quatrain, I would like to delve into what I believe Nostradamus was referring to by describing the eclipse the way he did.

Before Jesus was nailed to the cross He gave the women of Jerusalem this advice, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. Jesus knew what the future held, not only for these Jewish women and their descendants, but the rest of the world as well. His words are recorded for all generations to read because they will forever shine a light on the truth. However, most people rely instead on the very institution that wanted Jesus out of the way in the first place for the truths they believe in. From the earliest days of Christianity the priesthood has been casting a shadow over a well lit path by standing between the rest of us and the word of God. The bigger the priesthood gets the more light it blocks. Nostradamus was simply pointing out to King Henry that this spiritual shadow would reach across time, growing as it spread from one generation to another like the shadow that was cast across Europe and Asia by the solar eclipse that occurred earlier this year.

Two words used by Nostradamus in his epistle, obscure and tenebrous, are of the utmost importance if we are to understand what he was telling King Henry about the coming of the Empire of the Antichrist. Webster defines obscure as not easily perceived. Tenebrous is defined as dark and gloomy. More importantly though, we are told by Webster to see temerity for a more detailed definition of the word tenebrous. Temerity is defined as foolish behavior that results from failing to evaluate the consequences of your actions or underrating the dangers involved. Nostradamus was telling King Henry that what happens after the eclipse will not be seen until it's too late, even though it was done in plain view of everyone.

There have been many interpretations of the writings of Nostradamus down through the centuries and many people have rewritten some of the quatrains, changing a word here and there, to make them fit what they think Nostradamus was saying. Skeptics use this fact to enhance their argument that his writings can not be believed. Because some interpreters have made these changes, missing forecasts completely, it makes it hard on others like myself to wade through the damage they have created and warn people that it just may not be bunk after all. I believe that even though some words have been changed they are minor and his over all message is still intact just as the Bible is. So here is what I believe Nostradamus was telling us in the 1999 quatrain.

"In the year 1999 and seven months, from the sky will come the great King of Terror, he will bring back the great king of the Mongols, before and after war reigns happily." What Nostradamus said in line one of this quatrain is very plain, in the year 1999 and seven months. Every expert in the field thus far though, has interpreted him as saying, in the year 1999, in the seventh month. I must admit that this particular quatrain is a tricky one because of its subject matter, and it had me fooled for awhile too, but in the seventh month is not what he meant and here's why. If something would have happened on July 4, 1999, that would have been in the year 1999, six months and four days. It did not become 1999 and seven months until 12:00 AM the morning of August 1, 1999.

Line two is a bit more complicated to explain than line one because of the history behind the statement. And since it has been said that one picture is worth a thousand words, you will soon begin to understand how the earth and pyramid at the top of the article relate to line two of the quatrain, which says, "from the sky will come the great King of Terror". "He, (says line three) will bring back the great king of the Mongols".

To explain this in more detail I will use quatrain C1 Q91 by Nostradamus as a reference, in which he says, "The divine enmities shall take human appearance, they shall be the true authors of the great conflict." What Nostradamus said in this quatrain relates very closely to what the Bible says in Matthew 24:37-39. When asked by his Disciples about signs of his second coming, Jesus said, "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they knew not until the flood came, and took them away..."

This was a direct reference by Jesus to Genesis 6:4 which says, "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God (angels) came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, (before man) men of renown." Men of renown were angels in physical form that lived on the earth before God created man. Because they were corrupted by Lucifer, their kingdom was destroyed. Evidence of this can be found at the very beginning of the Bible in Genesis 1:1-2. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void..."

It was without form, and void after it had already been created. This is why scientists say the earth is much older than religious leaders believe it to be. The earth of old, that was created in the beginning, was destroyed by God along with the fallen angels of those days mentioned in Genesis 6:4. Some of these fallen angels managed to escaped the wrath of God and I believe they are what the 1999 quatrain is really about. It's a warning given by Nostradamus to the people of the future that these angels will return to the earth once again in the year 1999, to begin making preparations for the final battle we were warned about in the Bible.

In a book called Notes From The Cosmos, by futurist Gordon-Michael Scallion, he describes what he calls the Blue Star. He says it travels through the heavens in regular cycles like a comet, but unlike a comet, this object is made up of pure spiritual energy. It can move across great expanses of time in just moments, or it can move very slowly, remaining perfectly still at other times. He goes on to describe a group of light-beings (angels) that have joined together to form this star in order to serve. The star has stopped by the earth several times in the past and returns once again because its assistance will soon be needed. Mr. Scallion's book was published in 1997.

There is no doubt in my mind that this star exists, nor do I doubt that these angels have visited the earth before. What I do doubt is their motive for coming to the planet, because contrary to what they've told Mr. Scallion, I don't believe they have our best interest at heart. After all, Nostradamus called them divine enmities. That means they're in active opposition to something.

In Revelation chapter twelve we are told that the Devil and his angels were defeated in a battle in heaven by the archangel Michael and his forces. We're also told that Satan, which deceives the whole world, was cast out of heaven and his angels with him. In Revelation 12:12 the Bible says, "Woe to the inhabitors of the earth...for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time."

On August 18, 1999, which would be 1999, seven months and seventeen days by the way, an article appeared in the New York Times that read, "Astronomers Baffled By New Mystery Object In Northern Sky". The article said in effect, "Astronomers now have an unyielding mystery on their hands, a point of light deep in the northern sky that appears to be like nothing seen before. The mystery object has astronomers confounded because they cannot decipher the language of its light. The most intriguing possibility is that the object is announcing the existence of an entirely new cosmic phenomenon..."

I beg to differ with these scientists, this is not a new cosmic phenomenon. The fact is, it's a very old cosmic phenomenon that has been here many times before. It stopped by the earth right after man was created so its leader could tell Adam and Eve about their divine nature. It stopped by again right after the flood in Noah's time because mankind was keeping some form of written record by then and the mystery object was recorded by the people of ancient Babel.

Shortly after Noah and his family began to repopulate the earth selected members of the new population were being enlightened by this cosmic phenomenon. The enlightened few began to gather on a plain in the land of Shinar, Genesis 11:2. Shinar is also known as ancient Sumer or Babylon. The people that gathered there began to build a city and a tower whose top may reach unto heaven, Genesis 11:4. The tower of Babel, as it is more commonly known, is pictured on the back of the U.S. one dollar bill to the left of the word one. I covered all this a bit more extensively in A Brief Look At Tomorrow, so I'm not going to get into a lot of detail here, but heaven to these people is hovering just above the top of the tower. The Blue Star or triangle with the single eye in it, represents what is known as Oneness or the Law of One. That's why it was put on the back of the ONE dollar bill. Those who designed this particular piece of currency were enlightened like the selected few in the land of Shinar and they were making a statement.

At any rate, the mystery object has now been baffling scientists for three years. I don't know if it has been there longer and scientists only discovered it in 1996, or if it just parked out there three years ago. What I do know is that Nostradamus gave us a specific time to verify what he was telling us, and that time was August 18, 1999, when scientists revealed the existence of this object to the news media and they intern revealed it to us.

Now when you examine line two of the quatrain, you can better understand what Nostradamus was warning the people of the future about. "From the sky will come the great King of Terror". If anyone out there can tell me of anything more terrifying than the arrival of the Devil and his angels, I would like to hear what you think it is, because if it is indeed them, they know that they have but a short time and they are here for just one reason. To deceive the uniformed by implementing a battle plan that matches very closely the prophecies of the Bible.

The Blue Star of the tower in ancient Babel has returned to usher in the kingdom of Antichrist. You can argue that it's not so, but take a look around you at what's going on in the world. Children are shooting their teachers, fellow students and their parents. Nuclear bomb and missile technology is spreading unchecked to rogue nations throughout the world and the list goes on. Whether you believe it or not, the Antichrist is here among us today and he is receiving divine help from the Blue Star as he sets up his kingdom. The Bible tells us that few will know it's happening until it's too late. Daniel in chapter eight describes in detail exactly what Nostradamus tells us, and that is that divine enmities will aid the Antichrist in his rise to power. Finally, whether he knows it or not, Gordon-Michael Scallion in his book Notes from the Cosmos, gave us another clue that verifies what I've been telling you in a poem he calls, The Second Milios.

"Returned have eight to prepare the way. Blue light from above sets the course, as death retreats before Michael's presence..." The eight (angels), known as Ascended Masters among you New Agers, have descended or returned to the earth once again to live another lifetime. Their current incarnations are eight leaders within the G-7 industrialized nations and Russia. This group of nations now call themselves The Eight, and the Antichrist is a member of this group.

Blue light setting a course refers to the mystery object in our northern sky. The star is making preparations for the Antichrist to make his appearance in the city of Jerusalem as none other than the Messiah himself. To prepare the way the eight must first unify the nations of the earth into One. That will require the creation of a false Antichrist that will cause the world to rally behind the real one. This will be accomplished when death retreats before Michael's presence.

Death retreating before Michael's presence is a reference by what Gordon-Michael Scallion calls in his book, the Source. The Source is making a reference to the book of Daniel in the Bible, and it knows this story all to well because the Bible calls it a familiar spirit. That means that the Source is known by God because it was once a part of His kingdom. Its leader in fact, is an expert on the word of God and knows exactly how to use it to One's own tactical advantage.

Deceiving the uninformed with the word of God is a tactical move of great importance from the Blue Star's point of view because it increases their numbers greatly in the years leading up to the Battle of Armageddon. The occupants of the star know full well what they face when they stand against God, and they need the extra numbers not because they think we can help them win, but rather to use as a smoke screen. Millions will die in the blink-of-an-eye, and like mercenaries blending into a crowd of panicked people during a guerilla attack, the Devil and his angels intend to use the cover of millions of souls leaving their bodies all at once to aid them in making their escape should Plan A fail.

Nostradamus explained how they accomplish this deception in the 1999 quatrain, because in line two he said, the great King of Terror (Satan himself) will bring back the great king of the Mongols in line three, and Genghis Khan conquered the Middle East in the thirteenth century. Nostradamus saw Satan's band of divine enmities provoke this man from the Middle East into a fight after they took on human appearance in quatrain C1 Q91, because he said they shall be the true authors of the great conflict.

Daniel chapter eleven backs Nostradamus up beginning in verse two, which says, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia, and then a fourth one will come to power that shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia, or the industrialized nations of the West. In verse three the word "and" shows up again, which means that after this Persian king uses his riches to finance terrorist attacks on the West, a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion. The king of verse three is from the West, and the word mighty means that his power comes from a divine source. In Daniel 11:25 the king from the West shall stir up his power against the Persian king, and then he shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army of his own. This verse means that angels sent by God will be in this army from the East, and Daniel 12:1 tells us that the archangel Michael will be one of them. That means that contrary to what the divine enmities of quatrain C1 Q91 tell you as the eight leaders of the Western world, God is not on your side in this coming fight. That is made more than clear in Daniel 11:4, when the king of the West enters Jerusalem and his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven.

In the Middle Ages the Mongolian Empire encompassed such countries as Iran and Iraq, but more important than that, Genghis Khan captured a piece of real estate called Afghanistan, the present home of the Middle Eastern warlord predicted by Nostradamus. Death will retreat before Michael's presence when this leader and his army are poured out onto the earth from one of seven vials full of the wrath of God in Revelation 15:7. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared, (for an invasion of Europe) Revelation 16:12.

"And it shall be as the chased roe (a small European deer)...Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. Behold I will stir up the Medes against them." Isaiah 13:14-17.

This invasion of Europe by the Medes and Persians will of course cause great outrage among the people of the Western world. However, it is exactly what their ancestors did to the people of the Middle East during the first Crusade when they stormed Jerusalem in 1099 AD. The Crusades are the best example I can think of to explain Satan's plan of deception because it is based on the word of God. He began implementing it through the Christian Church the minute it began to form.

What most people fail to realize is that Satan was once God's right hand man. He created him and they were once friends. Therefore, God kept no secrets from him because He trusted him. So if you don't understand anything else you had better understand this. Satan knows better than any man on this planet what is said in the Bible. Moreover, he is intelligent enough to use that knowledge, not just against one man at time to lead him astray as the clergy would have you believe. He is capable of taking on all of mankind at once and deceiving us thoroughly, because Revelation 9:18-20 says that even after a third of mankind is killed by fire in the coming nuclear war, those that are left alive will have learned nothing. They will cling even harder to the worship of the same false idols of gold and silver that they have worshiped for centuries.

In recent years (the 1960's) Satan's plan began to focus on New Age spiritual groups as well. Nothing in the days ahead will be what it seems to be. Those who look like they're on the side of right, will in reality be just the opposite. For example, in his book Gordon-Michael Scallion describes what he calls Children of the Blue Ray. He said they began to incarnate significantly during the 1940's and that by the turn of this century they will number in the millions. He describes them as forerunners to a new race that wish to express themselves in a peaceful manner. This is a part of the deception because the Antichrist, born in the 1940's, by peace shall destroy many, Daniel 8:25.

Mr. Scallion describes souls of various other colors that are coming to the planet also, each with different abilities and interests. His intuition about souls incarnating to the planet at this point in time is a vision shared by other psychics as well. But there is one vision in particular, by an early twentieth century seer and prophetess named Regina, that I think may give some needed insight into what is really taking place. She foresaw a generation of people that would incarnate among us toward the end of this century whose only destiny would be self-destruction. Their only purpose for living would be to bring on the final battle. And no matter what country they are born in, they will all be connected by an old law, the Law of One.

For those of you who think this is just too incredible to believe, I would just point this out to you. Your government has been spending huge amounts of money lately looking for little green men. If some of the most educated people in the country didn't believe that something was out there, they wouldn't keep spending millions of dollars trying to contact it. As for me, I don't need a telescope to see what it is. It may have the brightest minds our government has to offer believing they've found some new cosmic phenomenon, but it don't fool me. I know what's out there and it's not aliens!

So like a well known patriot from our countries beginning who rode to warn the populace that the British were coming. The Night Watchman now rides to warn the people of a far worse enemy than the Red Coats. This enemy is a light deep in the northern sky. A wolf in sheep's clothing that seeks only to devour your civilization and replace it with one of its own.

Here me America! It's not just your freedom at stake this time. If you wish to keep your soul as well, then listen to the faint sound of hoof beats in the distance. As they grow louder you can hear a lone rider shout this warning as he approaches in the night. "The Red Rose is coming, they're coming by See; The Red Rose is coming, they're coming by See."
