Son of man, I have made you a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; and you don't give him warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand. Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul, Ezekiel 3:17-19.
Israel Be Warned
L.C. Thomas
In A Brief Look At Tomorrow I pointed out that World War III would be the direct result of a peace treaty between Israel and the people of Palestine negotiated late in the year 2000 or early in the year 2001. To eliminate confusion I want to clarify that Israel and the United States operate on two different calendars. Our calendar is based on the Sun and each New Year begins on the first day of January. Israel uses a calendar that is based on the Moon and their New Year doesn't begin until the first or second day of Rosh Hashanah in the month of Tishri, which varies each year between the months of September and October on our calendar. So the year 2000 doesn't end in Israel until midnight the morning of September 18, 2001 our time.
I came to the conclusion that a peace treaty would somehow be involved at the onset of World War III after stumbling upon the work of a gentleman named J. R. Church who wrote a book called Prophecies of the Psalms. In it he pointed out that the book of Psalms was a book of prophecy giving a year by year description of the 20th Century and beyond in precise chronological order. Each Psalm number corresponds exactly with the year it represents. For example, if you read Psalms 39-45, you will see that they describe the plight of the Jews living in Europe between 1939-1945. Psalm 91 verses 5-8, describe the events of the Gulf War that took place in 1991. You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked. If you remember anything at all about the Gulf War, you will remember that Saddam Hussein fired Scud Missiles into Israel and they were asked not to retaliate. They complied with that request and only watched the reward received by the wicked.
Psalms 93 and 98 describe the flooding that took place all over the world in the years 1993 and 1998. Psalms 92 and 97 describe a phenomenon known as El Nino that caused these floods to take place. O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are deep. A brutish man knows not; neither does the fool understand this (Psalm 92). There are roughly one-thousand active volcanoes (deep) on the floor of the Pacific Ocean, yet scientists insist that El Nino is caused by greenhouse gases collecting in our atmosphere.
El Nino winters are always followed by worldwide flooding in the spring of the following year, and Psalm 93 describes the one that took place in the year 1993. The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. I remember the floods of 1993 because a schoolmate of mine from Florida had his house shown on CNN in the floods that spring.
Psalm 97 says, A fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about. The flipside of El Nino is that while it dumps a lot of moisture on our side of the world, it does just the opposite on the other side. It pulls moisture out of the air on the western shores of the Pacific creating draught conditions. Indonesia was literally on fire to the point that the Sun was blotted out by the smoke in 1997, and it should be noted that Indonesia was connected to the Antichrist politically at that time.
It then flooded worldwide again in the spring of 1998 and Psalm 98 says, Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Let the floods clap their hands let the hills be joyful together before the Lord; for he comes to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity. The Lord coming to judge the world and its people with equity gives this Psalm a subtle twist that the untrained eye might not catch. However, once you really begin to understand what the Bible is saying this verse literally reaches off the page and grabs your attention so that it can lead you to Isaiah chapter thirteen, specifically verse five. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. I saw His weapon of choice when it made a headline in the New York Times in the spring of 1998 and then made its rounds on the television news shows as well.
Based on the evidence exhibited in the above Psalms, I believe that Psalms 99-102 contain clues that will help us understand what is about to take place in the coming years. For instance, Psalm 99:5-7 says, Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy. Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among those that called upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them. He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them. By following these verses back to the book of Exodus I found some very interesting things about a contract that the Jewish people entered into with God at his footstool, and the things that I found are perilously close to what is taking place in the world today.
In Psalm 100:5 (the year 2000) Israel is reminded that the contract their ancestors entered into with God at the foot of Mt. Sinai is still binding. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations. The agreement that Israel is being reminded of can be found in Exodus 19:5-9. Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel. And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the Lord commanded him. And all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people to the Lord. And the Lord said to Moses, I will come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.
Forever means this agreement is still in effect today. In fact, Psalm 48 reminds the people of Israel about the contract again upon returning to their God given land in 1948. Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. Mark well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that you may tell the generation following. For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. Psalm 48:12-14.
The reward for keeping their agreement with God can be found in Leviticus 26:3-6. If you walk in my statues, and keep my commandments, and do them...I will give you peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts (or men) out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
However, if the agreement is broken even unto death will begin to make its meaning clear. But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments...I also will do this to you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, (which is the use of chemical weapons) and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. And I will set my face against you, and you shall flee when none pursue you, Leviticus 26:14-17. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore I hid my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. Ezekiel is not talking about his own time in chapter thirty-nine, verse twenty-three, he is talking about ours.
In Psalm 101:6-8, which is equivalent to the year 2001, the agreement between God and the people of Israel is apparently broken. My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me. He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight. I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord. The faithful are those abiding by the laws of God and thereby sticking to the agreement that their ancestors made.
Apparently though, there are others in the land that are not sticking to the agreement because Psalm 102:1-9 (the year 2002), describes almost word for word the warning of Leviticus 26:14-17 and the events described in Ezekiel 39. Here my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto you. Hide not your face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline your ear to me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as a hearth. My heart is smitten and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin...My enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me. For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.
The agreement being broken by the wicked of the land (the peace negotiators) can be found in Exodus 23:32-33 where Israel is warned by God about the people of the land where they were being taken. You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me: for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto you. The gods of the Canaanites or Palestinians are intermingled with those of Egypt and Babylon, and because the Antichrist is a living god like Pharaoh, someone in Israel is serving him instead of the God of Abraham.
In Exodus 34:12 God again told the people of Israel, Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you go, lest it be for a snare in the midst of you. That thing that God warned the people of Israel not to do with the Palestinians has now become a part of the peace negotiations, and it can be found in Leviticus 25:23. The land shall not be sold forever: for it is mine: for you are just strangers and sojourners with me.
The Lord plainly told Israel over 4000 years ago not to sell (or trade) the land, especially for something He had already promised them. If you walk in my statues, and keep my commandments, and do them...I will give you peace in the land. And that is what they had until they quit listening to the Lord and began to deal with the people they were warned about. Now because they have strayed from what God wanted, the curse of Leviticus 26:14-17 is now on them. Terrorism is the result, and according to the prophecies of the Psalms, some in the nation of Israel will not turn away from the path they have chosen, which is why Samuel was mentioned in Psalm 99.
Israel rejected God in I Samuel choosing a man to lead them, which they are about to do again. And the man some of them have chosen to trust is the same man that is responsible for the spread of nuclear weapons to rogue nations throughout the world. Peace Israel, will surely be a snare unto you, because after the league made between this man and a few of your leaders, he shall work deceitfully as foretold in Daniel 11:23. And your nation will pay a very high price for its iniquity, because I Samuel 8:18 says that you shall cry out in that day because of your king which you shall have chosen; and the Lord will not hear you in that day.
